1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Renew UCR Registration ("Renew UCR Registration," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of our website and our UCR filing service.

By selecting Pay at checkout, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or our service.

If you use the service for a business, you accept these Terms on that business's behalf, and "you" includes the business.

2. We Are Not a Government Agency

Renew UCR Registration is a private, independent service. We are not the Unified Carrier Registration Plan (the "UCR Plan"), the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the U.S. Department of Transportation, or any state or federal agency, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

You are not required to use our service. You may register directly with the UCR Plan and pay only its fee:

3. Eligibility and Authority

To use our service, you must be at least 18 years old and authorized to file the UCR registration for the motor carrier, broker, freight forwarder, or leasing company whose information you submit. You confirm that you are authorized to act for the business when you submit your order by selecting Pay.

4. Our Service

When you place an order, we:

• Look up your carrier's details in the UCR Plan's public records from your USDOT number, to prefill your filing
• Calculate the UCR Plan's fee from your business type and the number of vehicles you report
• Submit your Unified Carrier Registration to the UCR Plan on your behalf, using the information you provide
• Email you a receipt, and your registration confirmation once the UCR Plan issues it

You appoint us as your limited agent for the sole purpose of submitting your registration and paying the UCR Plan's fee for the registration year you choose.

The UCR Plan decides whether a registration is accepted. We do not guarantee acceptance, a particular processing time, or that your registration satisfies any other federal, state, or local requirement.

5. Your Information and Responsibilities

You agree that:

• The information you provide is accurate, complete, and current
• You are responsible for the business type and vehicle counts you report, which determine your UCR fee bracket, even where we prefilled them from public records
• You will review your filing before paying and tell us promptly if anything is wrong

Inaccurate information may cause your registration to be filed in the wrong fee bracket, delayed, or rejected. You are responsible for any additional fees, penalties, or enforcement action that results from information you provided.

6. Fees

Your total includes two components:

• The applicable UCR Plan registration fee, which we pay to the UCR Plan on your behalf; and
• Our service fee for preparing and submitting your filing.

The total filing price is shown before you pay. The applicable UCR Plan registration fee is included in the total.

The total shown at checkout is the price you pay. The UCR Plan sets its fees for each registration year, and we may change our service fee for future orders. A price change never affects an order you have already paid for.

For the largest fleets, we quote the price individually before you pay.

7. Payment

Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

By selecting Pay, you authorize Renew UCR Registration to charge your payment method for the total shown. We may cancel an order and refund any payment if we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorized use.

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first; most issues are resolved faster that way than through a card dispute.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show the credit.

9. Electronic Communications

You agree to receive receipts, registration confirmations, and other notices about your order by email, and that these satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. We may also send reminders about upcoming UCR registration years; each reminder includes a link to unsubscribe, which does not affect emails about an order you placed.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit information you know is false, or file for a carrier you are not authorized to represent
• Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or our systems
• Scrape, copy, or resell the website or its content

We may suspend access or refuse an order if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

11. Intellectual Property

The website, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Renew UCR Registration or its licensors and protected by law. You may use it only to obtain our service, and may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our written permission.

12. Third-Party Systems

Our service depends on systems we do not control, including the UCR Plan's registration system and our payment processor. We are not responsible for their outages, delays, errors, or changes to their requirements.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE WEBSITE AND OUR SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENEW UCR REGISTRATION AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR OUR SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid us for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Renew UCR Registration and its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from information you submitted that was inaccurate or that you were not authorized to submit, or from your violation of these Terms.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Any lawsuit relating to these Terms or our service must be brought in the state courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, or in the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

17. General Terms

• Entire agreement: these Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about our service. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information
• Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect
• No waiver: our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later
• Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply to orders placed after that date; an order you have already paid for remains governed by the Terms in effect when you placed it.
